Hot Club Caravan is wowing audiences with their unique blend of gypsy jazz, originally made famous by jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt and violinist Stephane Grappelli (1930’s & 1940’s).
HCC is led by frontman and harmonica player extrordinaire,Sandy Weltman. The band also features the amazing Gary Hunt on lead guitar along with a driving rhythm section comprised of Clint Hasse on guitar and Carl Caspersen on double bass. Clint’s rich baritone singing rounds out the swinging musical vibes from this unique quartet.
The Hot Club Caravan repertoire is comprised of classic Django arrangements, Django-ized pop tunes (Beatles etc..), along with some tasty originals sprinkled into the mix.
Hot Club Caravan provides a rich acoustic experience for any music lover with a discriminating ear.
